crossing the dunes

The classic version of our dune trip starts in Alkmaar and leads through the polder landscape of the "Egmondermeer" into the dunes near Egmond. We will ride through a fantastic natural dune-landscape to the beach in Bergen aan Zee. After a short break we go to the picturesque artists´ village Bergen and from there  back to Alkmaar. This bike route is about 35 km long and takes about 4 to 4.5 hours of time.

Numerous variants are possible:

We can start from a remote location near Alkmaar as for example: Egmond, Egmond aan Zee, Bergen, Bergen aan Zee, Schoorl, Castricum or another place.

Alternative targets could be the locks of IJmuiden of het visitorcenter in the dunes of Schoorl. It depends on your wishes. We select for you the most scenic routes.
